These low cost female panel mount banana jacks come in a 5-pack of 5 assorted colors (red/black/yellow/green/blue). The jacks have a hole through the shaft to allow it to crimp down on a wire.
It is possible to attach wires to the bottom portion of the plug if desired such as when using for a power supply by using small ring terminals under the locking nuts or by soldering to the end of the post stud.
These jacks are light duty type and handy for making logic connections on test fixtures or for lower power custom power supplies. For beefier banana jacks, check out some of the other options below.
Notes: Threads on these connectors are plastic. You can snug the nut down pretty well, but do not over-tighten the nut to avoid stripping the threads.
