Shipment Methods
ProtoSupplies.com ships either using UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail or USPS Ground Advantage depending on the size and destination of the shipment.
Processing and Shipping Times
We ship orders as soon as possible. If the order is placed by noon PST, it will usually ship the same day. Orders placed later will ship the following business day.
All orders shipped via UPS Ground will typically arrive within 2-5 business days depending on where you are located relative to our shipping location in the Pacific Northwest. West coast customers will typically receive parts within 1-3 days while East coast customers will typically require the full 5 days.
USPS shipments include smaller residencial orders, orders going to Alaska or Hawaii or certain rural locations in the continental USA or those going to a PO Box may be shipped via USPS Priority Mail or Ground Advantage. Priority Mail usually takes 2-3 days for delivery once shipped.
All orders are tracked and insured. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with the shipment method, tracking information and expected delivery date.
Please note: ProtoSupplies.com does not have a retail store. Orders are not available for local pick-up.
Shipping Costs
Orders of $299 or more are shipped for free!
Orders under $100 can be shipped for $6.95 via USPS Ground Advantage or $12.95 for UPS Ground or USPS Priority mail.
Orders between $100 to $299 are shipped for $12.95 and will ship by best method as determined by us. That will usually be UPS Ground or Priority mail depending on the address. Commercial addresses will normally ship via UPS Ground.
UPS express shipping can be quoted. In that case, actual shipping costs are charged and a PayPal invoice is emailed to pay for any additional shipping before the order is shipped. Alternatively the customer can provide their UPS account number to charge the expedited shipping to.
Shipping Area
We currently ship within the USA to all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii go by USPS.
International customers can order from us using a package forwarding service. The one we can recommend based on experience with them is www.myus.com. You sign up for an account with them. They provide you with a USA address to use on the order. We ship to them and they then take care of getting the package to you internationally. They have cost estimators on their website. That account can be used to order from any USA company that does not directly ship internationally. The customer is responsible for the international portion of the shipping, VAT, duties or other international shipping expenses.
Though we do not normally ship internationally, but we can quote shipping to Canada upon request.
All UPS shipments must ship to a street address and not a PO Box. Shipments to a PO Box must go by USPS.
Returns
To arrange for a return use the 'Contact Us' form or send an email to support@protosupplies.com.
We can only accept returns of unopened and unused kits and products within 15 days of receipt. Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs. Upon receipt and inspection to verify condition, a refund back to the original method of payment will be issued for the product returned. The refund does not include the outbound shipping charge.
If the item is received in a condition where it cannot be restocked, the refund will be in the form of a store credit that will be adjusted to reflect the current value.
If the product is being returned as being damaged in shipment or defective, the return will be processed and we will repair, credit or exchange the item(s) as needed.
General Return Guidelines
Please arrange for an RMA by contacting us at support@protosupplies.com prior to sending any returns back to us.
Returns must include any cables or other accessories originally provided with the product.
Items that are modified or damaged though misapplication or abuse such as reversing power leads and releasing the magic smoke are not eligible for return.
