All orders are placed on-line through the website.
Payment
We accept credit card, debit card and PayPal for payment only.
Shipping
We ship only within the USA at this time.
International customers can order from us using a package forwarding service. The one we can recommend is www.myus.com. You sign up for an account with them. They provide you with a USA address to use on the order. We ship to them and they then take care of getting the package to you internationally. That account can be used to order from any USA company that does not directly ship internationally.
Orders usually ship within 1 business day after placement of order. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with the tracking information.
We ship by both UPS and USPS depending on size and destination of the order. Orders shipped via UPS will receive an email from us with the tracking number and should also receive an automated email sent by UPS with the tracking information. Smaller residential orders, may ship via USPS Priority mail or Ground Advantage and tracking information will be emailed once the order is processed.
If an order is shipped either through USPS or UPS and tracking shows that the package was delivered but the customer cannot find it, the customer should contact the shipping company which can determine by GPS coordinates whether the package was delivered correctly or not. If it was delivered incorrectly, the shipping company can usually recover the package and deliver it correctly. ProtoSupplies.com is not responsible for packages shown as being delivered correctly but subsquently claimed to be missing due to theft or other reasons.
Product Returns
We can only accept returns of unopened products within 15 days of receipt. Return shipment is the responsibility of the customer. All returns are either handled as a refund back to method of payment or as a store credit upon receipt. Please contact us before returning any items.
Product Warranty
Product are sold on an 'As-Is' basis.
With that legalize stated, we strive to fairly represent products on our website and to deliver that product to our customers. In the case where ProtoSupplies.com clearly drops the ball, we will use our discretion to make it right for our customer.
Teensy microcontroller specifics: PJRC, the manufacturer of the Teensy, warranties manufacturing mistakes by PJRC. Similarly, if ProtoSupplies.com modifies the Teensy, such as to add additional memory, we test and warranty those changes to also work properly when the product is first used. Basically, the warranty covers out-of-box type failures.
If an out of box failure is suspected upon first receiving the item, then that item must be returned at customer expense for testing before a refund will be considered.
The warranty is not an insurance policy covering damage that may occur during use of the Teensy that was in good condition when it was first received. This is because there are many ways to accidentally damage the Teensy which are outside of the manufacturers control.
In the case of ProtoSupplies.com manufactured products which have SKUs starting with PSB or PSA, we do warrant that they will be free from manufacturing defects for a period of thirty (30) days following the date of delivery to you. We will replace, repair or credit you for any confirmed defective product at our option. Please contact support@protosupplies.com with any issues.
In the case of Products not manufactured by ProtoSupplies.com that have manufacturer warranties, those are passed through to the customer to the extent allowed by the law. Those warranties would be addressed directly with the product manufacturer.
Any warranty will not apply if product fails or is damaged after delivery due to accident, abuse or misuse.
Safety
Electricity and some components and tools used in electronics are inherently dangerous. Your safety is your own responsibility, including proper use of equipment and safety gear and determining if you have adequate skill and experience for the project that you are undertaking.

We store your order history, shipping and billing addresses, phone number and email. This information is used for the sole purpose of providing good support for our customers and is never given or sold to any third party.
Credit card information is not stored or used on our website. All payment processing and information storage is handled via a secure encrypted link directly with our credit card processing company which is Stripe. PayPal payments are similarly transacted directly via PayPal.

We do not use click-bait or affiliated links. Since we have not control over those linked websites, if you use them you do so at your own risk.
