These male DC power plugs are used to make custom power cables or to replace different size DC power plugs to re-purpose AC adapters.

These male DC power plugs fit standard 2.1 / 5.5mm female power sockets.
The plastic strain relief can fit a cable of up to 5mm in diameter. The strain relief screws onto the metal plug.
There are 2 solder connections on the jack. The center contact is the positive lead, the outer contact is the ground / negative lead.
In most cases, you will want to slide the plastic strain relief onto the cable before soldering the connector in place.
Notes:
- The length of the shaft may be longer than is shown in the picture. In that case, some of the shaft will be exposed when the plug is fully inserted, but that does not affect operation.
