These switches are 4-terminal normally open pushbuttons. Pins are formed solder type on 5.08mm (0.2″) centers on one side x 12.7mm (0.5″) and are breadboard friendly.
The switch body is a standard 12 x 12 x 7.3mm square version. The button cap increases the height to 12mm. This cap is snap-on and can be replaced if desired.
The contact closure is across the pins on the same side of the switch body as shown in the example image to the right.
Our Evaluation Results:
These switches have a great snap-action feel with audible click. The 4-pin layout works well in solderless breadboards or perf boards with a 0.1″ standard spacking.
These are designed for basic logic level switching but we tested them with 12V @ 1A and 32V @100mA without drama and the contact resistance was still < 0.01Ω after the testing.
