KEY FEATURES OF TACTILE MOMENTARY PUSHBUTTON BLUE 6mm:
- NO (Normally Open) contacts
- Good snap action feel with audible click
- Blue cap
- 4-terminal
These switches are 4-terminal normally open pushbuttons. Pins are formed solder type on 5.08mm (0.2″) centers on one side x 7.62mm (0.3″). They are primarily used on PCBs, but can work OK on some breadboards.
The switch body is a standard 6 x 6 x 7.3mm square version. The button cap increases the height to 10mm. This cap is snap-on and can be removed or replaced if desired.
The contact closure is across the pins on the same side of the switch body as shown in the example image to the right.
Our Evaluation Results:
These switches have a good snap-action feel with audible click. The 4-pin layout works well in solder type perf boards with a 0.1″ standard spacing. They can also work OK in most solderless breadboards.
These are designed for basic logic level switching, but we have tested them up to 1A @ 5V and up to 32V @ 100mA without any drama noted.
