Miniature Microswitch with Lever SPDT, 2A (5-Pack)

Description

These miniature microswitches with levers are rated up to 2A and suitable for logic and low power switching.

These are 3-terminal SPDT type switches with a C (Common), NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) connections.

When the switch is open the C and NC terminals make contact.  When the switch is closed by depressing the lever the C and NO terminals make contact.

Solder pins are on 5.08mm (0.2″) centers.   The lever is 13mm long.  There are 2 small holes that can be used for mounting with small screws if desired.

OUR EVALUATION RESULTS:

These work well for logic level switching or for light duty power switching.  We have tested these switches at 2A @ 12VDC and they have a good snap-action operation.  Switch operation occurs after about 2mm travel of the lever.

These are designed to be mounted on a PCB or the pins can be soldered to with smaller wire.  The pins are not long enough to make good contact with a solderless breadboard unless they are extended.
