These wire strippers by IWISS feature precision machined steel jaws for stripping and cutting medium to larger gauge wires with comfortable handle grips.

USING THE WIRE STRIPPER:
There are very nice wire strippers and what we use to create our own cables.
Wire strippers don’t need much explanation, so we’ll keep it short and simple.
Stripping the Wire
The wire should be inserted from the side of the tool with the gauge markings as shown below.
When stripping wire, you want to be sure not to use too small of jaw opening to avoid accidentally cutting not only the insulation but also some of the copper conductors. When first using a stripper and especially if you are unsure of the AWG wire in hand, it is best to error on trying to use too large of opening and then move to a smaller size if the insulation is not being cut cleanly through.
On larger AWG wires with tough insulation, the tool may need to be rotated around the insulation to fully cut it.
