LILYGO T-Display Enclosure

Description

This black ABS enclosure fits the LILYGO T-Display with or without pins and allows access to user buttons, reset button and battery connection.

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

• LILYGO T-Display black ABS enclosure
• Double-sided adhesive foam block

The enclosure is a simple snap-together assembly.  A small screwdriver can be inserted under the tab on one corner of the back panel to help pry the back panel off.

With the assembly apart, the T-Display should be inserted USB connector first and then the board can be pressed into place.  With the board properly in place, the display will be inset a bit in the opening of the enclosure.

The back can then be snapped on to complete the assembly.

There is an adhesive pad supplied with the case, but it typically isn’t needed to hold the display in place.  If it is used, remove the adhesive from one side only so that back cover can still be removed if needed.

If the battery cable is being used, it can be installed with the case either on or off, though access is a little easier with it off since the connector is very small.

Note:  In some cases, the plastic tab over the Reset button can be tight enough to depress the reset button on its own when the T-Display is inserted into the enclosure.  If that happens, the T-Display will stay in reset and the display will remain dark.  Should that happen, remove the T-Display and use a small tool to gently push out on the plastic flap a little to help provide additional clearance for the reset button.
