Header Male Low Profile 1×40 Break-away

Description

These are 1×40 single row low-profile male headers that can be easily cut or snapped to the length required.

KEY FEATURES OF HEADER MALE 1×40 BREAK-AWAY:

• 1×40 Male header with standard 2.54mm (0.1″) spacing
• 2mm x 3mm long pins

These low profile headers have short 2.0mm pins on one side and 3.0mm pins on the other side.  They can be used for soldering adapter boards like an SOIC to DIP adapter to a PCB without requiring lead trimming as would be required with normal length headers.  They can also be used with many low profile female header sockets.

Depending on the application, the header can be mounted with either the 2mm or 3mm long pins pointed down.

These 40-pin strips can be easily cut or snapped into shorter lengths of pins if needed for the project by using needle nose pliers.
